This hands-on course is designed to instruct the dental
assistant in the fabrication of provisionals for crown and bridge restorations.
Participants will master the criteria needed for proficient temporaries
and review materials that are available on the market from the perspective
of the dental assistant. Each participant will have the opportunity
to practice fabricating both a single posterior crown and an anterior
bridge from a choice of materials and learn how to achieve both foolproof
margins and tight contacts. A certificate of completion is awarded each
participant.

Planner Note: Participants are required to bring protective eyewear,
explorer, cotton pliers, dappen dish, small mixing spatula, and crown
& bridge scissors to this course. Lab coats are suggested. This
